Day 3 Dalat Sightseeing

Le Cafe De La Poste
We had our breakfast at the hotel restaurant: Le Cafe De La Poste. A chic
French style bistro located just opposite the hotel.

I like this wall picture.

The print on the glass say : The Journey Of Taste.

See HS is on her journey of taste. "HS, is the food nice?"

After breakfast, we went back to hotel to wait for our tour guide (easy rider).
The guide that we book was not available that day, thus he sent his friend
Pang to stand in for him. We didn't take a picture of him, too bad. And
according to him there will be direct flight from Singapore to Dalat by next
year.

Our 1st stop is to the cable car station. This is the Dalat city view in front
of the cable car station.

Yeah! we are in the cable car for sight seeing. And we"自拍" to get this photo.

The cable car bring us over forests, vegetable gardens and right down to
a pagoda that lies above the Quang Trung reservoir.

We didn't go to the pagoda but walk pass it and enjoy the surrounding
scenery.

Dalat is also called the "The City of flower". We could see a lot of flower in
Dalat. Every December, they have annual flower festival.

Datanle waterfall

We went to the famous Datanle water fall, it attract alot of vistors every year.

You can walk down to the waterfall or roll down by the toboggan. We took
a toboggan on rail to get down to the water fall.

Rolling down! Yee Pee! The ride down has been a gradual decline
with plenty of sweeping bends. Thank God it was HS who did the
maneuver of the toboggan. I just sit back and enjoy the ride

 HS nice post.

The journey up from the waterfall was just an auto vertical pull for about 400
feet until we reached the entrance, no maneuver of the toboggan needed.

We went to the Lam Dong Province Museum where there are exhibit of
local historical and traditional displays, including archaeological and
ethnological artifacts.

This is their music instrument, it's made of stone. When we hit at it, it really
can make music. How fascinating nature is.

At the XQ Embroidery Center, we saw many skillful embroidery pieces
done by the vietnamese woman. Can't take pictures of the embroidery.

Hang Nga guesthouse, popularly known as the “Crazy House” in vietnam,
is an unconventional building designed and constructed by Vietnamese
architect Miss Dang Viet Nga. The building’s overall design resembles a
giant tree, incorporating sculptured design elements representing natural
forms such as animals, mushrooms, spider webs and caves.

Address: 03 Huynh Thuc Khang Street
Crazy House #1
The crazy house is open for people to stay, it has ten themed guest rooms
which are the tiger room, eagle room, ant room and the kangaroo room.

I'll feel very eerie at night.

While we were there, there are still some construction going on.
According to our tour guide the whole construction will be completed
in 2015.

Crazy House #7
We ended the day tour at the crazy house and our guide sent us back to
our hotel. But it was still early so we decided to find a cafe to chill out.

So we went to the Blue Water Restaurant which is beside the Xuan Huong
Lake and order some drink.

HS is deep in thought having some solitude time.

I'm busy taking some pictures. This view is taken from the restaurant, does
it give a little feel like Paris? Dalat is also know as "Le Petit Paris".
Xuan Huong Lake

Guess who am i?

How about this picture?
We sit at the lake side for a few hour, as it get later into the evening, it
get colder. So we decided to go for dinner. When we left off with our
tour guide, we did ask him where can we go for dinner, and he show us a
restaurant near our hotel.
I like the menu design, this Nhu Ngoc restaurant is situated in a small
lane near our hotel. This are eating place that you can't find in tour book.
So it's good to ask the local where are the good food and need not
always follow a guide book.
Our dinner for the day. Generally, we are ok with the food we eat in vietnam.
Their food are quiet suitable for the asian.
